Join the Kenton County Public Library and Ohio Kentucky Indiana Cachers (O.K.I.C.) for an introduction to the growing outdoor hobby of Geocaching. Geocaching is like a treasure hunt combined with the outdoors and hiking! Caches are hidden in various locations and cachers use GPS (Global Positioning Systems) equipment and physical coordinates (latitude and longitude) posted on the World Wide Web to pinpoint caches. Dress for an outdoor walk around the Library grounds, as we will split up with seasoned cachers and find the caches. "Cache In, Trash Out" is the cachers' motto - we'll do a litter cleanup as we go. Wear comfortable shoes.
