Lace up your shoes and register for the Library's "Racing to Read" 5k Run and Walk. This fun, family-oriented event offers you the opportunity to run or walk through the beautiful, historical Covington historical and its' riverside neighborhood. After you finish, enjoy a free pancake breakfast in the Library's parking lot courtesy of First Watch restaurant.

Since its incorporation over a century ago, Independence Cemetery has served as the final resting place for generations of Southern Kenton County families. Join members of the Kentucky History Department for a guided tour of this picturesque rural cemetery. Along the way, learn about the special meanings behind tombstone symbols and funerary art. Meet at Independence Cemetery no later than 9:45 a.m. This program will require walking over paved paths, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
