[Kyprogrammers] Trivia contest for NLW

We're having fun during National Library Week playing a library trivia game.
The idea was based on the TV series CASH CAB, but I really couldn't give
cash away (though I did consider giving Book Bucks, coupons we sometimes
give that are in various values and can be redeemed for overdues,
photocopies, in the "library store" for bookbags, mugs, etc.). Instead
we're giving an assortment of books, bentcils, library theme frisbees and
hackysacks, piggy banks, mugs, and teddy bears.

Questions are in 2 skills levels; we have a bowl of adult questions and one
of juvenile questions. Many are "Identify the book from the first line" and
examples range from "It was a pleasure to burn" and "Last night I went to
Manderly again" to "All children, except one, grow up"; "Where's Papa going
with that ax?" said Fern to her mother as they were setting the table for
breakfast." (My favorite first line in the contest is "I have been afraid
of putting air in a tire ever since I saw a tractor tire blow up and throw
Newt Hardbine's father over the top of the Standard Oil sign ." Hint: It's
from a former "What if all KY read the same book" event.)

Other questions concern the library's operations, such as "What time does
this library close on Wednesdays?" or "Name one person on the library
board."

If a person answers correctly, they may then draw a slip identifying their
prize. Today a 70 year old man won a Frisbee. He was amused, but I think
he'd rather have pulled a Silas House book or a "Free to Read" mug. However
he comes to library every day and can play again tomorrow.

On Wednesday we'll give each patron a coupon for 10 free printouts or
photocopies, and on Thursday there'll be little booklets of poems given out.
Nothing elaborate during the week, but it's all amusing.
