[Kyprogrammers] Great summer programming idea

I just read my e-newsletter from Lexington Public Library and saw this
fantastic program idea that Marcie Barnett and Tamera Bence are doing.
I love the idea of giving folks a craft to do (and something cool to
take home) while doing book talks!

 

Beach Books, Straw Hats & Flip-Flops, Monday, May 19, 7:00 PM. With
summer just around the corner, it's time to start thinking of your
vacation. Join Eagle Creek librarians Marcie Barnett and Tamara Bence as
we share staff suggestions for great books to take on your trip. While
hearing about the books, you can decorate a straw hat or a pair of
flip-flops. All materials provided. Reservations required.
