The Fab Four is an iconic part of music history. These four young men from England – John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr – made a musical and cultural impact on the world that could never have been imagined. In the upcoming weeks, the Kenton County Public Library will be offering programs to celebrate the significance of The Beatles:
Covington will offer a Grab and Go Craft for making decorative bowls out of recycled records. There is a limited number of Grab and Go kits, so make sure you come in and grab yours before they’re all gone! T
At our William E. Durr Branch, we’re hosting “An Evening with the Liverpool Lads: A Beatles Tribute Experience” on Friday, August 27th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. No registration is required. For the kids and teens, there will also be a Yellow Submarine Paint by Numbers activity available, starting on Friday, August 20th and ending on Friday, August 27th.
Next month, Erlanger will have two events: “Yellow Submarine String Art” on Tuesday, September 14th at 6:00 PM in the STREAM Center and “The McCartney Project: Tribute Concert to Paul McCartney, Wings, and The Beatles” on Saturday, September 18th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
