If you are just getting started researching your family history or have been researching for years our genealogy workshop will help you grow your genealogy skills. On Saturday, November 13, 2021 @ 1 PM, join us for a Zoom genealogy workshop with Dr. Michael D. Lacopo.

Dr. Michael D. Lacopo has decades of genealogical research experience, lectured at the National Genealogical Society conference, and written for numerous periodicals including USA Today. He is a retired small-animal veterinarian and professional genealogist born and raised in northern Indiana. His research skills cover a broad range, with specialties in German research, Mid-Atlantic American research, genetic genealogy, social history, and advanced problem solving.

12:30 PM – Zoom meeting room opens.
12:45 PM – Meeting announcements followed by an introduction.
1 PM – 2 PM – 1st session: Finding and Using German Church Records
2 PM – 2:10 PM – Break (10 minutes)
2:10 PM – 3:10 PM – 2nd session: Researching Recent Immigrant Ancestors in Regional Repositories
3:10 PM – 3:20 PM – Break (10 minutes)
