Summer Reading Celebration 2023: Find Your Voice

Find your voice and create a habit of reading this summer with a little help from the library. The Kenton County Public Library celebrates Summer Reading from June 1 through July 31. SRC kickoffs will take place Saturday, June 3 at each location. Karaoke, live music, bounce houses, balloon jugglers and more will be featured at the kickoffs. Please check out the library events page for more details.

Reading during the summer helps prevent what’s known as the Summer Slide. Studies show that children who don’t read during the summer are more likely to struggle when they return to school. Adults can set a great example by reading in front of children. SRC allows children, teens, and adults to win cool prizes just for reading or listening to a book.
