Andrew Carnegie once said that “a free library is the best gift that can be given to a community.” You may make a tax-deductible gift to the Kenton County Public Library Foundation in a number of ways:
For a Loved One: you may make a gift in memory of a loved one, friend or pet. You can also honor someone or celebrate an event. Simply designate whom you wish to memorialize or honor and designate to whom the Foundation should acknowledge your gift.
Special Services*: you may also designate a gift on behalf of one of the Library’s many services including but not limited to:
- Homebound Delivery – delivers materials to senior centers and those unable to physically get to the Library.
- Racing to Read – an outreach program whereby staff visit daycares and Head Start programs on a daily basis to read to children and to prepare them to learn and read once entering school
- Kentucky History – this department is continually seeking resources to add to its extensive collection and seeks to put as much information online as possible
- Programming and Materials – help continue to grow the collection of materials on the shelves and build the free programming offered daily.
*If you are interested in donating to a specific fund (service), please make sure you select the checkbox below where it says “I would like to designate this donation to a specific fund.” Using the dropbox underneath the checkbox, you may select which specific fund you would like to contribute to. Upon receiving your gift for a specific fund a staff member will contact you for additional information.
For over 100 years, the Kenton County Public Library has endeavored to enrich the lives of the residents of Kenton County and the region with books, information, programs, and services. Your support will help ensure the Library’s mission to preserve yesterday, enrich today, and inspire tomorrow.
