Judy Clabes (May 24 1945, Henderson – )

Newspaper editor and civic leader, Clabes received a BA from the University of Kentucky and her MPA from Indiana State University. Prior to a career in journalism, Clabes taught at multiple Kentucky high schools. She moved in 1983 to pursue the position of editor at the Kentucky Post and quickly began participating in the civic matters of community. Her involvement did not wane even when she became president and CEO of Scripps Howard Foundation in 1996. Clabes continues to participate in numerous foundations and fundraisers to help the northern Kentucky area.
