Description: Ben Thompson - obituary
Comment: Mr. Thompson was a true gentleman. I rode the Green LIne bus with him for several years on my way to Covington Latin School. We talked every morning and he amazed me with bits of wisdom. I later learned that he had been a doctor during WW I but became disenchanted because he had very little power to save lives due to the lack of antibiotics. He practiced law well into his 90's and seldom missed a bus ride.
