Becoming a parent comes with excitement, questions and plenty of new experiences. Whether you are preparing to welcome your first baby or navigating the early months with your little one, the Kenton County Public Library is here to support you.

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Erlanger Branch will host a free Baby Resource Fair designed for expecting parents and caregivers of babies 0 to 12 months old. This event brings together trusted community partners to provide resources, workshops and hands-on guidance for families across Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati.

What to Expect

The Baby Resource Fair is more than just information. It is an opportunity to connect with experts, explore resources and enjoy activities with your baby.

• Informational Booths and Vendor Hall (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
  Browse tables hosted by organizations including St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, WIC and more. Learn about local services and ask questions directly from the experts.

• Developmental Screenings (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
  Check in on your baby’s growth and milestones with professionals offering screenings throughout the event.

• Free Car Seat Checks (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
  Certified technicians from Cincinnati Children's Hospital will ensure your car seat is installed correctly and safely.

• Workshops and Demonstrations

  • Baby Storytime (10:30 to 11 a.m.) – Share songs, stories and smiles with your little one.

  • Prenatal Fitness Class (10:30 to 11 a.m.) – Stay strong and healthy with Fit4Mom Northern Kentucky.

  • Baby Playtime (Drop in 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) – A relaxed space for babies to explore and play.

  • Lactation Workshop (11 to 11:15 a.m.) – Guidance from St. Elizabeth Healthcare lactation specialists.

  • Car Seat Safety Demo (11:15 to 11:30 a.m.) – Tips for safe travel from Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

  • Stroller Fitness Class (11:15 to 11:45 a.m.) – Get moving with your baby alongside Fit4Mom Northern Kentucky.

  • Finding Childcare and Preschool Presentation (11:30 to 11:45 a.m.) – Insights from EC Learn on choosing the right early education setting.
