This holiday season, we’re celebrating the everyday wonders that happen inside the branches of the Kenton County Public Library system. The spark in a child’s eyes during storytime, the relief of a job seeker who finds support and a path forward, the joy of discovering a new story that feels just right -- it happens every day at our branches in Erlanger, Independence, Covington and Latonia.
Our library is strong because the people of Kenton County have chosen to support it through public funding. Tax dollars keep the shelves full, the branches open and welcoming and the core services available to everyone. That is a gift in itself.
And sometimes, the library dreams even bigger. That’s where the Kenton County Library Foundation steps in.
The foundation is a separate nonprofit that raises private funds to help KCPL reach further and serve deeper than tax dollars alone can. When you make a donation, you aren’t replacing what the public already provides. You’re helping the library do more of what matters most.
Your gift directly supports:
- A book for every incoming kindergartner
- Summer Reading celebrations that inspire a love of reading
- Career and job search resources that build confidence
- Preservation of our shared local history
- …and a future where the library continues to grow with our community.
Every dollar stays right here in Kenton County, helping the library inspire readers, empower learners and bring neighbors together.
This Giving Tuesday, thank you for believing in your library.
