Teacher Support from the Kenton County Public Library

As a new school year approaches, the Kenton County Public Library is here to support educators every step of the way. Whether you're a classroom teacher, specialist or homeschool parent, the library offers free services and tools to help you prepare for a successful year.

Educators can prepare their classrooms with the help of the STREAM Centers at the Erlanger and Covington Branches. These creative spaces are equipped with tools that allow you to personalize your classroom materials and bring your ideas to life. With access to a large poster printer, Cricut machine, sticker printer, 3D printer, heat press, engraver, button maker and more, the STREAM Center is perfect for making banners, bulletin boards, custom stickers and more. Patrons only pay for the cost of materials. Training is required for most equipment. Appointments can be scheduled at kentonlibrary.org/stream or by calling 859-962-4000.

Beyond the STREAM Center, the Library’s Educator Services division provides ongoing support throughout the school year. Services include educator library cards, curriculum kits, class visits, homeschool resources, Scholastic Teachables and more. These services are designed to make planning easier and provide access to high-quality materials that enrich learning.

“We know that teachers pour their hearts, and often their own resources, into their classrooms,” said Kari Jones, Outreach Branch Manager. “Through programs like the STREAM Center and our School Services division, we’re proud to support the educators shaping our community’s future. Our goal is to make it easier for them to access the tools, materials and resources they need to help students thrive.”
