Baby Resource Fair: Connecting Families to Their Community from the Very Beginning

Every babe deserves a strong start—and every family deserves to know where to find support.

The Kenton County Public Library is bringing together local organizations, community agencies, and families Oct. 10, for a Baby Resource Fair designed to connect families with the people, programs, and resources available to them in their own community.

This FREE, family-friendly event will introduce families to local organizations that support babies and young children—from health and family services to early childhood education, parenting resources, developmental supports, and more. 

The library makes early literacy fun and accessible through baby-friendly activities and storytime for families to learn how everyday interactions—talking, singing, playing, and reading together— can help build the foundation for lifelong learning.

The earliest years of a child’s life are a critical time for development, and families don’t always know what resources are available or where to start. The library is uniquely positioned to serve as a welcoming, trusted community hub where families can discover those resources without needing to already know what they need.

Our goal is to make connections—between families and agencies, between caregivers and their community, and between babies and the books, language, play, and relationships that help them thrive.

Come for the baby activities. Leave with a library card, a stack of books, new community connections, and a better idea of where to turn when your family needs support.

Schedule of events:

KCPL's Baby Resource Fair is Sat., Oct. 10 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Erlanger Branch. 

10:30-11am: Family Dance Party with scarves and instruments

10:30am-1pm: Vendor Hall & Play Zones for babies up to age 3!

10:30am-1pm: Try and learn about baby carriers at the Baby Carrier Library with Cincy Babywearing

10:30am-12:30pm: Free car seat checks with Cincinnati Children's Hospital

11:15-11:45am: Stroller Strides fitness class with Fit4Mom NKY [Register here]

12:00-12:15pm: Early Childhood Resources with EC Learn

This event is intended for expecting parents and caregivers of babies and toddlers 0-3 years old.
