Madeleine Albright Passes During Women’s History Month

Madeleine Albright, the first female US secretary of state, passed away during Women's History Month on March 23. She was 84-years-old.

Albright was born in Prague on May 15, 1937. When she was only a toddler, she and her family fled Czechoslovakia shortly after the country was invaded at the start of World War II, settling in England for the duration of the war. Her family eventually settled in Denver, Colorado.
