Covington African American Read-In

The National African American Read-In began in 1990 as an effort to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month. However, an African American Read-In can happen at any place and time. The Covington Branch is hosting an African American Read-In on Saturday, October 21, starting at 10:30am with a special themed storytime. The Cincy Blues Society will perform at 1:30pm, and books written and illustrated by African Americans will be available all day for reading and to check out. This event is for all ages with no registration required. Come down to the Covington Branch to celebrate African American-created books!
