Barbie was first introduced in 1959, by Ruth Handler, the wife of Elliot Handler, the founder of the Mattel toy company. Barbie dolls have been a popular toy for children for decades. To celebrate the movie, and our love for Barbie, we've found some of our favorite Barbie photographs from our historic photograph archive Faces and Places.
