New Annual $50 Fee for Non-Kentucky Residents | Coming January 3, 2027

Beginning Jan. 3, 2027, Kenton County Public Library is updating its borrowing policies for patrons who live outside Kentucky.

A $50 annual fee will apply when non-Kentucky residents apply for a new library card or renew an existing one. Current cardholders may continue using their cards until their expiration dates. This fee will be waived for individuals who work in Kenton County.

These changes will help the library manage the rising costs of providing materials and digital resources while continuing to serve the community.
