Homeschool educators are afforded the same privileges as educators working within a school system.

Apply for an Educator Card

Use our Educator Collection services.

  • Do you need books for your next assignment to enhance your educational goals?  The Library can create a collection for you. This service is available for all educators, including homeschool and preschool educators. Select up to 10 specific titles or just tell us the subject and we can create the collection for you with up to 30 items.  See the links below to request an Educator Collection.    
  • Request a K-12 Collection

Arrange for a Library Tour of one of our branches.  Available for groups of 5 or more adults and/or children.

Database Training can be scheduled with your local branch and will be done at the branch’s computer learning center.  Available for groups of 5 or more adults and/or children ages 8 and up.

Homeschool programs and book discussion clubs are scheduled regularly at all 3 branches.  Check to find the current listing of homeschool programs; limit your search by choosing “Homeschool” as the Event Type.

While the library does not provide textbooks, our library collection and electronic resources are top-notch, and will supplement and extend your homeschool lessons. Go to the catalog and do a keyword search for “home schooling” to find over 150 print and electronic resources that you can check out.
