If you're like me, you have the date circled on your calendar when kids go back to school! But, there's still one more way to celebrate everything that made summer break so fun.
Join Kenton County Public Library and Kenton County Parks & Recreation for our End of Summer Fest on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 4-7 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 3952 Madison Pike. All good things must come to an end, and this free community celebration is the perfect way to wrap up the summer with music, games, creative activities and plenty of family fun and lasting memories.

Whether you spent the summer solving mysteries through Summer Reading Detectives or you're simply looking for one last summer outing before school routines return, the End of Summer Fest offers something for everyone in your family.
And, if your wallet is feeling the pinch of back-to-school purchases, don't worry because this event is free! Cool off with free Kona Ice, dance along to live top 40’s rock, country, R&B, jazz and blues music with Cincinnati band Velvet Soul or dive into the excitement of a foam party and bounce house. Kids can enjoy games throughout the evening, while young entrepreneurs showcase their creativity and business skills at the Kids Market. *Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Seahan’s Coffee & Hamilton’s Hot Dogs.)
