Summer Fun Continues at KCPL in July

July may be the heart of the summer, but there's still plenty of time to discover something new at Kenton County Public Library.

The July 2026 Events Guide features hundreds of free programs for children, teens and adults, including live entertainment, storytimes, crafts, fitness classes, technology workshops, career development programs, book discussions, hands-on STREAM experiences and family-friendly activities happening throughout Kenton County. Whether you're looking to learn a new skill, connect with others or simply have fun, there's something for everyone this month.

July also marks the final month of Summer Reading Detectives. Readers of all ages can continue logging their reading, earning prizes and solving the case through books, activities and mystery-themed adventures at every branch. There's still time to join the investigation and discover why thousands of readers are participating in this year's Summer Reading Celebration.

Looking for something unique? July's calendar includes opportunities to explore local history and genealogy, improve technology skills, attend career and job-search workshops, participate in creative arts programs and enjoy special events designed for every age group and interest. Regular favorites like storytimes, book clubs, wellness programs and educational workshops continue throughout the month.

Pick up a copy of the July Events Guide the next time you visit one of our branches, or browse the digital edition online to see everything happening throughout the month.

Summer may be flying by, but there are still plenty of opportunities to learn, create, connect and have fun at your library.
