Items missing or lost from KCPL collection

Renewals must be requested 5 days prior to actual due date.   The loaning library grants permission for renewals, not KCPL. Lending and Renewals are done solely at the discretion of the lending library—some renewal requests may be denied and an item can be recalled at any time.  If your item is non-renewable, “No Renewals” will be noted on the sticker.  KCPL has no control over initial due dates assigned.

It can take one to eight weeks to receive the requested item.

The lending library determines the length of checkout time, usually, anywhere from two to six weeks.

Visit the ILL information page to login and view your ILL loans and requests.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service through which KCPL obtains materials from other libraries for use by KCPL patrons. To be eligible for this service you must be a Kenton County resident and library cardholder with full borrowing privileges. To avoid delays, always check KCPL’s Online Catalog, opens a new window to see if we own before submitting I.L.L. requests.
